Knights of Columbus Donation

Many thanks to the MD State and St. Hugh of Greenbelt Knights of Columbus Councils, which presented Kathy Labukas, Jewell’s Place, Inc., former Board President, with a very generous donation. Their support comes at a critical time for Jewell’s Place, Inc. in maintaining quality care in our 16 residential group homes during the current pandemic. We are very grateful.

Membership

Becoming a member of Jewell’s Place means having a say in how the organization is run. Jewell’s Place members vote for our board members and also have a vote pertaining to any significant changes with Jewell’s Place. Jewell’s Place members get a tax deduction for their membership fee, the knowledge they are helping some of our most vulnerable citizens, voting rights in agency business, and on-going information via our newsletter and emails. 2020 and 2021 were particularly difficult due to the COVID Pandemic, however, through employee dedication and family support, Jewell’s Place managed to safely maintain our services.
